I am upgrading a website to 4.1 but I found that Payments.PayPalDirect plugin has been discontinued now. May I know the reason as it is the major payment method used in our website. Please let me know if you can provide me that plugin in 4.1 version?
Thanks
It's no longer supported and you will need to purchase a plugin like: http://market.mobsocial.co/paypal-direct
Which probably won't work by September s Paypal are making changes to support PSD2 (https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/psd2) I have been speaking to Paypal and they are providing 3rd party free support using Cardinal Commerce, but unfortunately they don't support NopCommerce, so I am waiting for them to get back to me as to how to implement the PSD2 changes.
Hi, are you sure this plugin doesn't comply with PSD2 and the SCA requirements? Have you used it?
Did you get any update on when the new plugin will get available in the nop market?
We are using this ourselves but have been unable to confirm if it covers PSD2 as the developers have not got back to our requests and from what I can see it does not as Paypal informed me the other day.
I would hold out before purchase to see if they confirm PSD2

I emailed the plugin developer and they said PSD2 is not supported. Also Paypal have just called me and they are trying to find an alternative solution and/or some way of implementing the integrations.

Is there any documentation on how to upgrade the plugin with new PSD2 changes or any samples provided by PayPal which we can use to upgrade the plugin ourselves?

Has there been any update to this issue? I've got two new NopCommerce 9.1 stores that can't take payment through Paypal.
I've tried almost all of the plugins in the plugin store including the ones from FoxnetSoft and have been unable to get any of them to work.
The mobsocial one looks promising but I'm not sure about support for it and I don't want to blow $50 bucks on nothing. The FoxnetSoft ones at least give a demo of 100 purchases.
My Paypal credentials are from 2007 are of NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic) type, and work great on a classic ASP or .NET site.
I just need to be able to take payments, and create recurring billing profiles - which again, I can do by hand using the custom code I wrote 7 years ago that still works today.

Thanks all!
Did you try the following plugins? Do they fulfill the purpose of PayPal Direct?
