How to override or change admin sitemap.config from plugin

Is there a way to add your plugin menu items to sitemap.config file? I created some admin menu items from plugin and want to hide some of them based on customer roles. when we create sitemap node we cannot define the PermissionNames.

I guess we have to add a new PermissionRecord first. Then? I don't want to just update the sitemap.config file , I want to do it from plugin.
