On product create, why stock quantity default value(10000) remain after selecting don't track inventory as inventory method?

Does it matter ?
Its just a default value - Stock Quantity is not used unless you track inventory

@YIDNA My question was not about it matters or not. If anyone chose don't track inventory, naturally stock quantity should be zero(0).
