Same app on server 2008 Standard R2 and server 2016 Standard, different RAM consumption

Hello

Today we transferred one nop 3.6 application from 2008 R2 server to new server with 2016 windows server.

On 2008 app consumed 190 MB ram, on 2016 it was consuming 980 MB.
After we enabled 32 bit applications in application pool, ram consumption fell to 280 MB.
That is still 100 MB more then on 2008 R2 server.

Same database, same app, just copied over from old server to new server, but it consumer one third more ram. And it is very basic installation.

Any ideas or why that is happening? Did somebody else had same experience?
