I'm working with an old (2.10 base)highly customized nop site being used to
generate quotes for sporting goods and the owner wants a simple native mobile
app in order to generate quotes. Fair enough...
He is farming out the native Mobile App development to 3rd parties and I am
charged with coding the API. The 3rd party developer is telling us that they
cannot support Forms Authentication b/c they can't use cookies.
Now, I'm not completely up to speed on native Mobile App tech but from what
I could find on-line; both ios (NSHTTPCookieStorage) and android (CookieManager)
support cookies natively... Or am I reading those incorrectly?
So my question to the group is: Are native ios and android apps capable of
supporting Froms Authentication cookies?
Any guidance here would be appreciated.
