Custom validation for custom attributes

Hi all,
i would like add a custom validation, for a custom attribute, that i added.
The field must be in this form

^[A-Z]{6}[0-9]{2}[A-Z][0-9]{2}[A-Z][0-9]{3}[A-Z]$
