Hi nopCommerce team and community! Using NC 3.90. When we buy a VPS Server for nopCommerce site, we have a choice ofr the disk HDD or SSD. Of course SSD is better and more expensive... So, does it influence the site loading speed? Is HDD slower than SDD and does it really affect the site loading speed or no matter? Thanks.

Hello, Yes. Installing nopCommerce on a SSD will be much better and faster. Rest all depends upon your VPS configurations and your IIS configuration. Regards, Atul

SSD definitely makes a notable improvement. I rent a very capable Windows VPS with SSD and 12 GB RAM and 6 vCores, including windows Server 2016 for 15 euros a month, no annual commitment. The bargains are out there

Sure, also choose SSD against regular HD, SSD is a lot faster.
