style change after store url change

I notice some of my home page styles are messed up .
Seems that this happened after I changed my store url to https and ssl enabled ( under Configuration -> Stores ) .
Had style to change button to red after hover over and now it doesn't work .
Some buttons are hidden altogether ...

Anyone see this problem before ? I should mention I am using cloudflare ; don't know if that is related .

check if all your links (images urls inside CSS, urls inside links) have the https url.

Actually I changed the store url back to http and the problem still persists .
Source links look ok to me ... not sure why this is happening .
Could have to do with cloudflare maybe but just guessing .
Will have to ask my developers . Was hoping to be rid of them but some things
about web programming i just don't understand , lol .
