Help for Upgrade 4.10 to 4.20 using upgrade script

Hello,

I am running 4.10 version with Venture Theme and plugins.

I have downloaded the upgrade script and planning to run it .

My question is whether the 4.10 plugin and theme will also be automatically upgraded to 4.2 version ?
Or will I need to download 4.2 version theme and plugin and manually install them post upgrade.

Hi,

No, plugins and theme won't be upgraded automatically. Each vendor has to provide upgraded version of plugins and themes. Upgrade script is used only to upgrade nopCommerce database. You can contact your vendor and ask for upgraded version of products. When you receive updated plugins, you will be able to install them in the store after nopCommerce upgrade.
