Pictures - multiple Reference not supported?

Hi,

Do I presume right, that in the current nop implementation every uploaded picture is added to the Picture table regardless if the same picture has been uploaded before? So actually the Picture table is not a Collection of unique files that can be referenced by more than one entity but a list of pics each of it referenced exactly once. Hence there could also be duplicates on the file system. Right?

Yes I think you are correct
I suppose to do what you want you would need to add a way to view exisitng pictures and/or a way to select them in the admin
