SmarterASP Down

SmarterASP has been down 10+ hours now.

Customers are showing screenshots of their files crypto locked on Twitter.

This is exactly the same thing that happened to A2 Hosting a few months back.

Not good.

it's true, I have a couple of sites on smarterASP and stilling down.
I'm moving to https://www.everleap.com/ to review.

I've just switched from SmarterASP to https://www.peopleshost.com -- A friend of mine recommended them; and they got me setup and running in under an hour.  Great service!

SmarterASP has a problem.
I can't get any information from their support.

They are down for more than 24 hours. None official statement from the Smarterasp people. Support is not reachable and the only information that we are getting is coming from the social media (FB and Twitter) posted from other affected users. They are handling this situation really in an unprofessional way.

I think I have to do an express migration tonight hopefully to have the shop up and running for Monday morning. The thing is that I need a hosting with servers in Europe. Any suggestion? Please don't say HostForLIFE.eu because I had bad experiences with them.

I think the smarterasp will not solve this problem. We lost our data 😀.
I read several posts, customers wrote that the files were encrypted and I saw that databases were offline too.
I want to find another hosting provider in the USA.
Does someone have any suggestion?

I've used HostGator before.  Too big, just like SmarterASP.  Don't have good customer service.  They are owned by a large Hosting Conglomerate EIG.  Just look them up.  No good.
