You need to implement a process to delete orders that are older than so many months or years. Either write a c# procedure, sql query or I also use Access connected to SQL to do data maintenance. Shrink the database can also help.
Yes its good to look at those big numbers in excess of $1 million lol but better to have a faster admin :) Maybe It would be good if there was an option to lock in the values for the previous periods as the history totals rather than calulated. Then the second step of deleting the orders would not affect the history.
