So, we have an issue with the Paypal standard plugin. Most of the times everything is working fine and customers actually get redirected to paypal and complete the transaction. There are some times though that customers are clicking the "Complete order" button and then never get redirected to paypal.
To be honest, we have never been able to reproduce the issue ourselves. However there are lots of customers reporting this issue to us.
As per Andrei's bug report guide:
1. nopCommerce version:
4.0
2. Expected behavior
- Customer adds products to the cart
- Customer proceeds to checkout
- Customer selects Paypal (standard) as payment method
- Customer clicks the "Complete order" button
- Customer gets redirected to Paypal and completes the transaction
3. Actual behavior
- Customer adds products to the cart
- Customer proceeds to checkout
- Customer selects Paypal (standard) as payment method
- Customer clicks the "Complete order" button
- Customer may or may not get redirected to Paypal.
4. Steps to reproduce the problem
- Add product(s) to the cart
- Proceed to checkout
- Select Paypal (standard) as payment method
- Click the "Complete order" button
- Redirect to Paypal to complete the transaction.
5. Any private modifications you made to your nopCommerce
- Lots of them.
We do know that this has occurred to customers using Chrome or any browser really.
Has this ever happened to any one of you? If so, how did you solved your issue?
