Hi,

I downloaded the latest No Source version and it seems to me that the bin folder isn't there with the DLLs in the root folder.

The dll goes directly in the root directory in the latest version of NopCommerce instead of the bin folder.

The issue was indeed a missing ASP.NET Core Runtime, I installed the latest one (v3.1.2) using the "Windows Hosting Bundle Installer", restarted the IIS. Now I am getting an error message saying that  the Handler "aspNetCore" has a bad module "AspNetCoreModule" in its module list
Any idea ? My server runs IIS 10.

You need to install core v2.2 runtime for nopCommerce v4.2.

I was assuming that installing v3.1.2 would cover that. And especially that the 2.2 has reached end of life.

No, you would still need to install 2.2 for Nop4.2 . The new version of NopCommerce would target the latest and stable version but for 4.2 you would still need .Net Core 2.2
