4.1 Theme isnt responsive Upgrade or repair ?

We have a NOP site in 4.1  which was upgraded from early version  https://handlinggear.com.au/

It appears that to make our previous NOP version theme work the tech had to disable the responsive part of our website off in 4.1

We either need to make this current theme responsive or upgrade / change our layouts to new theme

Please advise best solution

I would recommend upgrading to a new theme.   What you have would take a lot of work to get to a responsive design.  Better to leverage the labor already done with an existing responsive theme than to start from scratch.

You can always make fine adjustments to the new theme to get what you are looking for.

I looked back in the internet archive and I'm not sure if the site was ever responsive.

I personally suggest to move your changes to new theme.

Your current site theme seems to be very old layout. If you want to responsive than it will be fine but again it will look like older.

This is my opinion.
