How to complete a pick up order ?

Hi,
What is the process to complete an order set as pick up in store ?
For shipping order, it's easy : capture / add shipment / set as shipped (we configured the shop to set an order as completed when it's shipped).

But for pickup in store orders, we do not want to create a shipment as there is no shipment, but without shipment, it seems impossible to complete the order.  So orders are paid but stay with the status "Processing".

That was not the expected answer, but the "feature" is kown.
Doing a shipment is not really a problem.
What's look a cheap is the email received by the client telling him that the order has been shipped.
