You need to install the MVC 3.5 runtime from the link in the previous post, run the aspnet_regiis tool as i did to make sure everything is registered correctly. There are no aspx pages because am guessing the MVC model doesnt use them (thats why you need to runtime) then try as i did, load installation with <site>/views/install

my big deal is taht ,there is no ""aspx"" file in all of my project, i re download the project for some times, but there is no aspx or the problem is same.
my project cant configure the cshtml files.
i dont know what should i do!
inow i use the 1.3 version of nopcommerce, i want to install the higher version, what do you suggest me to have a shopping web site?!!

hi, i installed the nopCommerce 2.4, it dosnt work on my plat form.
i used to use VS 2008, but because of this , i installedVS 2010, but it doesnt work yet.
when i open the sln file in output window i have this error:

my project doesnt have any errors now. as u said i just delete the values of nop.admin and nop.web <ProjectTypeGuids> tag. and its work!

I just downloaded the latest version 2.4 and I was able to run it from VS2010 with SQL server. I'm wondering if anyone could show me how to use the web service API. We currently have a store inventory software with existing products and we'd like to integrate it with nopCommerce. We'd like to call the webservice to add/update products when we added/updated it in our software (description, qty, price, images, etc.). Is it possible? Does your 300 pages manual would include a web service documentation? Thanks.

Hi,
I followed all instruction on Installing and configuration. Everything was fine until I go the step where I need to change pemission for some directories and files in the given list. I unchecked the pemission from read only in the file and directory properties. However, after I close the properties, everything return to the old read-only status.
I cannot load the admin site nor the front site. It keep giving the error message:

Our supporting staff has been notified with this error and will address this issue shortly. We profusely apologize for the inconvenience and for any damage this may cause. You might want to try the same action at later time.

I'm having 2 web hosting services, 1 of them is Arvixe and my site is http://real-black-shop.com/
Another one is ExpressWeb and my site is http://black-shop.expressweb.jp/
They were installed on the same day via Microsoft Web Gallery from the Website Panel and both said installation were successful.
The strange thing is in http://black-shop.expressweb.jp/ , the shopping cart link cannot be found. And I can't get into the admin page at all.
So far, everything seems alright at Arvixe, but I need to host this also in ExpressWeb in Japan.
Pls help
