"Database doesn't exist" v1.30 install

Hi,

I was originally trying to upgrade from 1.20 to 1.30, this gave me some issues so I decided to start from scratch with 1.30. I followed the instructions in the screencast but when I get to the screen where it asks create a new database or use an existing one, I select use an existing one, enter the correct name and it says it doesn't exist, but I have looked on my hosting account and it definately does exist. Any ideas?

I have also tried just creating a new database and I get this error:-

An error occured when creating database: CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'.
Creating a new database db_01

Any help is very much appreciated.

Are you using Godaddy?

please give more information about your configuration. Is the side external hosted, are you using SQL 2005, do you have any access to the admin part of your database? Did you activate the "sa" account on your SQL and did you use that account when upgrading?
