Hi, I'm looking for an events calander - not to integrate with anything else, it will be a freestanding application.
prefer asp.net as i am not familiar with php but that's not to say i won't go down that route ( i've already been looking at http://www.jevents.net/ at it has the general look i like )
ideally, it will have some kind of control over who can post events ( i prefer if i can create users who can the create posts )
it will be a simple interface that new users can easily understand.
it's for a community website so has to be free (or relatively cheap )
Can anybody offer any suggestions ?
