Hi,

Stick to the "Open Source" strategy and do whatever you like after this. What's great about this new theme is that you get the PSD's with your purchase. I don't care if the theme/plugin is official or not, and I don't care if it's free or not as long as it is affordable (come on, we all use nopCommerce to make money, right?).. What I care about most is the freedom and confidence I get when I deal with Open Source... And this is the major reason why I am hesitated about buying a couple of plugins that I liked from nop-templates.. They don't come with their source code.

Hi Omar,

You do not need the code of our plugins to extend them as long as you are aware of the nopCommerce plugin architecture and the MVC extensibility points. In addition the plugins come with their Razor views open to modifications and this is what you will need to change 90% of the time. For the remaining 10% you get our support and upgrades.

You are a developer and this is why you like to have everything under control, confide in the code only (this is how I think too). But when it comes to doing business quickly and cost effectively, our customers confide in our products and mostly the support that comes with them. We cannot offer them support and upgrades if we ship them the code.

And I think they are doing a pretty good job with their online shops. Just have a look at some of them:

http://www.westcrew.com/

http://inn7fashion.com/

http://www.ezman.us/

http://www.doctorvisual.com/

http://www.jewellersark.co.uk/

http://kropognegl.dk/

If you are still not convinced drops us an email regarding what you are looking for and we will do our best to show you how you can spin the plugins in the direction that you need.

Thanks 7Spikes for your response. I agree with you that support is extremely important. And I am sure that the support you provide to your customers is good and fast enough to make them happy and satisfied. After all, you folks have great plugins and themes. I won't be surprised if you provide great support too. However, open source is another story. It doesn't have to be traded off with support. And yes, I am a developer, but I have worked with a lot of customers who were not developers yet they required source code to be one of the deliverables of the projects we've done together, even in the presence of a signed support contract. The motivation behind this is obvious. They simply mitigate the risk of vendor lock-in.

I downloaded the trial versions of all your plugins, and I am currently evaluating whether they can add value to my new e-commerce store.. I will let you know if I figure out that I'll need to customize the designed behavior. Thank You :)

I have installed this Template. So I use it for an Italian Website.
Now there are some label without translation.

In the bottom of Website:

INFORMATION
CUSTOMER SERVICE
MY ACCOUNT
FOLLOW US

My Account ( On top )

Welcome visitor you can LOGIN or CREATE AN ACCOUNT  ( On top )

You are logged in as Alessandro (LOGOUT)  ( On top )

Search entire store here...  ( On top )

Put your e-mail here...  ( in newsletter subscription)

How can I translate them?
Thank you for your help

Hi,

Thanks for purchasing the theme. All of these labels are localizable. Go to admin area > configuration > languages > resources > and localize them (add a new ones if they does not exist):
1. INFORMATION - locale name: "Furniture.Information"
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE - "Furniture.MyAccount"
3. MY ACCOUNT - "Furniture.MyAccount"
4. FOLLOW US- "Furniture.FollowUs"
5. Welcome visitor you can LOGIN or CREATE AN ACCOUNT - "Furniture.WelcomeVisitor", "Furniture.Or", Furniture.Register", "Furniture.Login"
6. Search entire store here... - "Furniture.SearchBox.Tooltip"
7. Put your e-mail here... - "Furniture.NewsletterSubscribe.Tooltip"

P.S. Just search all locales in ENGLISH which start with "Furniture." and translate them....

Sorry...

In field of newsletter subscription now I see "furniture.newslettersub.scribe.tooltip"

If I click on "Details" of a Product, the website reload the same page and not the detail page.

PS: I use now in localhost with this path "http://localhost/sitename/", maybe all must be in the root?

This string is localizable as any other new new strings. You can see that it's translated on our furniture demo site here. To find the full list of custom locales open \\nopCommerce 2.80\plugin_source_code\Nop.Plugin.ThemeHelper.Furniture\FurniturePlugin.cs file, find "Install" method and see all locales there. So I presume that you created some new language after installing a plugin.

It works fine out of the box. Do you experience this issue for all products or only some certain ones? Do you experience this issue in other themes (such as "DefaultClean" one)?
