Hi, I apologize if this has been asked but honestly.. I searched for an answer on the web and in the forums.
I just deployed a fairly customized build. I have no problems making changes to the theme but I now need to add a new controller, view, and a route entry. I am worried that if I just 'publish' (through VS) or run the .bat files and upload the new build that I may break the live site.
What would be the procedure to publish the changes without having the site asking me to re-install or just plain breaking the whole thing?
Is it possible to make my changes on my development site, run the build scripts and just upload the new binaries?
