Shipping label

I've had a quick look at the "packing slip" PDF in the demo site but this looks to me to be nothing more than something you insert into the package.
How does NOPcommerce handle printing of shipping labels that get printed on sticky paper and stuck to the parcels.
This will be for a custom shopping provider so I realise sourlce code editing will be rerquired.

I have done this for [I think] a 1.6/7/8 Nop build. From memory, it was pretty easy. You just duplicate all the logic from the helper for a new 'mailing list labels' or whatever you want to call it and edit the PDF output to match the label size (Avery 7163 from memory?).

On that particular build, I think I also added inline buttons for 'Set Shipped' and 'Tracking code' too, which are really helpful on a busy site.

I'll dig the code out and see what it was. I may have even added it to an early v2 site, but I can't remember?

Wasnt this thread by any chance was it as I was hoping I could get ther code for the buttons in the list as that looks very useful

The one I did was probably 3/4 years ago for the pre-mvc version but I'm sure I added it to a 2.* project later on.

Did you ever manage to find the solution to this? I have just realised the footer fields are of no use as they are really..... footers! :) Also, message tokens don't work in there :(

What I want is to display the shipping address and returns address at teh bottom to be able to print this on double label paper so I can just peel off and stick on the shipping address on my parcels.

A reply would be greatly appreciated! :)

I'm new to nopCommerce.  Can you please add a screenshot of where the button (Print Shipping Slip) is going to appear on the shipping page?
And do we have to do any customization to the shipment page?
