Downloadable Product File Size Restrictions (NOP 3.x )

I've tried finding this in our NOP manual.. and in the forums.. but can't.

Is there any limitation on the file size for a downloadable product? Where does the file go when it's uploaded/created.. is stored in the download table in binary format???

Hi TonyMay:

In Administration module, navigate to Configuration > Settings > All Settings (Advanced).  Then click on the funnel icon to filter on catalogsettings.fileuploadmaximumsizebytes.  You can then set your maximum file size for downloadable products.

It does not work. I tried to set the size go to 10M, and reboot the system, but it still works for the size smaller than 2048KB only

Apart from setting catalogsettings.fileuploadmaximumsizebytes property you need to add lines 66-78 from web.config below (we using NOP 3.1, Windows Server 2008):

What has changed with regards to this in 3.8? How can I host a PDF on my site?

I can't find catalogsettings.fileuploadmaximumsizebytes on 3.90 when searching all settings.
I'm having problems to upload a file bigger than 4mb.
