Upgrading from 1.20 to 1.40

Hi All,

My nopCommernce site is currently at 1.20 and i plan to upgrade to 1.40.

Should I upgrade to 1.3 and then 1.4? (i.e. no direct upgrade path from 1.20 to 1.40)?

I remeber reading a thread from the core team that said you can go direct to 1.4.  If it was me...I would play safe and go 1.3 then 1.4

Thanks. I later found the post you were referring to.

The process would be:

Disable site and put up a maintenance .htm notice
Run the SQL upgrade script for 1.3, then 1.4
To upgrade, I guess I just need to replace all the files (in the web route,  excluding my web config and connection string files). Re-apply my CSS changes (as my previous 1.2 theme will need to be changed to work with 1.4).
Remove the site notice and all should be well!

I'll do this on a local test site first ;-)
