Accept online payment from Visa, Mastercard, and other credit cards

Hello,

I am creating a e-commerce store in nopCommerce. I am currently living in the US although I am an European citizen. I have been told that I won't be able to accept credit/debit card online payments to my American bank account unless I am American citizen, that I just can use Paypal and other like-kind platforms.

Is there any solution which enables me to accept credit/debit card online payment on my e-commerce store?

Why don't you call paypal.  You can probably just open a merchant account with them. Then you can accept credit card payments into your paypal account.  I think it's about $30 a month plus a % transaction fee.  The plugin exists in NopCommerce so it's an easy setup.
