the Search engine friendly page name request should be:
ShoppingCart/ProductDetails_AttributeChange

and set the redirect mode from the dropdown to:
204 No Content

I'm not sure if the older free version can do this very well? There would also be a slowdown with the older version, so I advise getting a key for the newest (re-engineered) version available: https://www.nopcommerce.com/getextension.ashx?id=1044 if it doesn't work.
