getting error for every page, then 20 mins later, it works. happens to each admin menu page !

please help.
nopcommerce is a great looking product, i just wish it would work.

I am getting an error after a fresh install, for example the main page after fresh install....20 minutes later, it works.
then the signin page, same thing, 20 mins later it works.
each of the admin menus, same thing, 20 mins later, it works.

I think this is a cache issue or a delayed deployment?
i installed the creditcard plugin ...from the adminitration>settings (then i saw it was wrong way to do it).
the whole site crashed, same error.
then 20 minutes later, the homepage works
then 20 minutes later, the sign in works, same thing but the product details is still not working.

i have direct access to db so i can retrieve info if you tell me which table to look for , in case the exception is logged there?

I did the custom errors and low and behond, the page worked BUT the Administration page is not working (after logging in) anymore....
this makes me think touching the web.config forced recompilation thus erasing the cache?
so the product details is now working but the admin is not working anymore.

Same issue here.  I spent several days on looking into this. My wait time was more like 5 minutes, seemed to shorten as I looked at more pages, eventually everything is working fine.  I still didn't find a cause.

Also on Arvixe, after upgrading from 3.10 to 3.40.

I am also having this problem on Arvixe (version 2.7). It's very frustrating that no one seems to know a solution to this random problem.

There have been several other threads that are related to this one. Typically, those resolutions involved validating if the app pool was recycling due to memory limitations. Basically, as memory grows in the w3wp process, some hosting providers do not have the threshold high enough, and IIS will force a recycle...thus your site goes down and the cache begins to rebuild.  Depending on circumstances, this can be repetitive.  One way to check is to look at your logs and observe the timestamps of the entry "Application Started". Each time you see an entry like this, it means that nop has restarted.  Hopefully this gives you a starting point to troubleshoot.
