Importing pictures with excel

I can't seem to get the Product import excel to import pictures.  The Pictures reside on my C Drive

     Could not find a part of the path 'C:\InventoryPictures\01631-01-01.JPG'.

Is there a solution? I have the problem in version 3.70.
On the Localen computer but it does not work on the Web server.

As per the FAQ - pictures must be in a path relative to server
