How can I add a new customer field but only show it in the admin? I am using nop version 3.6. I see where I can add a new field but I do not want that field to show up except for in the admin. I need a field to store some information so I can link it to quickbooks.
I don't believe this is possible.
a) When you click edit customer you could use the "Admin comment:" box to store the quickbooks code.
b) Add some CSS to the register view to hide the field on the page.

yes i agree with Matthew, its not possible currently without changing the views
