We have an announcement concerning nopCommerce content creation contest.
We were very happy to receive articles, but most of them were written before the period of the contest. We remind that the period after publishing the article and the date of its submission to the contest must not be more than 30 days. The other portion of articles received were brief blog posts rather than articles. Regardless of that, we will award the winner on the 7th of April.
Based on the interest to the first month of nopCommerce content writing contest we decided to do the following changes.
From now on we are merging two nominations: we will award one prize to one writer regardless of the topic. Note, that the article must be longer than 500 words now.
Still, we are looking forward to receiving your works. You can contribute both types of articles and win our prize. Please note that we can restore the previous model if we see a renewed interest in our contest.
It’s time to announce the winner of our Content contest.
Before we announce the name of the winner, we must clarify our decision. We have found that majority of works submitted were good in quality but unfit to contest rules due to the date published. Out of 8 works submitted only two were written in content period. We remind that period after publishing the article and the date of its submission to the contest must not be greater than 30 days. This was really upsetting to us because even top quality articles by Gaja Digital and Bayshore solutions were disqualified because of being written before contest period.
Hi Andrei, Wouldn't it be great if you put the links to some good submitted articles on nopCommerce website as well (may be a dedicated page or a separate forum topic in Content Announcements) even if they don't win.
I think this would become a good resource of some nice nopCommerce related articles at one place.
I 100% agree with Anshul - It'll be great to see all articles from each month (even if they didn't win).
This way, all the participants will get credit for submitting an article (since posting a link to their article will be like an acknowledgement) and all the submissions (article links) would become a good resource of nopCommerce related articles.

nopCommerce team is happy to announce the winner of the content contest. We congratulate Anshul Sojatia whose article "Why nopCommerce is a long runner - For Store Owners" has won our May prize. Our contest continues, and we expect to get more articles from you.
