Good ideea to enable store name prefix ?

Is it a good ideea to enable store or business name prefix in all page's title ?

Example:
As far as I know search engines put more weight on the early words, so if my keywords are near the start of the page title, it's more likely to rank well.
So, the second page should appear higher in Google results after a search by "baseball cards", right ?
1. <title>My Business Name: Baseball cards</title>
2. <title>Baseball cards</title>

As a suffix maybe but not as as prefix.

You want every page on your site to be unique. So optimize each page for a certain product or purpose.
That includes: All meta information, the H1 tag on the page, and the keyword density of a product name.
