Hi looking for some help.
I've just successfully replatformed a store from opencart to nop3.8 using the same domain name.
All is good apart from an issue with some of the older URL still being accessible from Google search.
Usually if the page can't get found the nop 404 page is displayed, and that's fine, only if the URL has .php in its query string it doesn't get to the nop 404, you get an ugly iis error page. I've tried it on the nop demo site and my other nop sites to check its not specific to my new site.

/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=150

I was hoping for a suggestion to make it more user friendly until Google indexing learns more about the domain its crawls over the months to come.

Try appending it to your own site eg:-domain.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=150

Thanks.

Look into creating rewrite rules in your web.config
