Order History Not Loading

Hello,

I can't get the order history to load on the dashboard or order history page on 3.9. I know it is an issue with the speed the database is responding. I am on AWS RDS SQL, and don't want to up the db timeout. Has anyone added db indexes, etc. to help response time? The instance has one website, with ~70 products, 10,000 customers and 30,000 orders.

It will have the spinning wheel for ~30 seconds and then say there are zero orders. A customer can still place an order successfully during this.
