I started looking into opening a web store some time ago but could not find a decent cart written in .NET.
I am a C# programmer by trade and would not have liked to use a cart that was based on PHP because I would not be as in control as I would be using an ASP and C# cart.
I shelved the idea until I came across nopCommerce. I checked it out, liked what I saw and starting planning my business with nopCommerce in mind.

We're still adding products and fixing things up, but the official launch party was last night and it went down a treat.
We will be shipping lingerie and 'other womens products' to customers in the UK and around the world thanks to nopCommerce.
nopCommerce is a great product, the support is great and once development has finished on this website I may even have some time to contribute to the project.
