4.1 vs 4.0 memory usage

I have 2 stores running on 4.00 and 2 stores with 4.10 on the same server and there is a significiant difference in memory usage.

4.00 stores use ~120 MB memory and 4.10 ~650 MB

Am I doing something wrong?
