if I wanted to install version 4.2 (no source but precompiled version) which files should I take? the download solution includes so many files can it be? nopCommerce_4.20_NoSource_SelfContained

nopCommerce 4.20 - Web (no source)
Download this package if you want to deploy a live site to a web server with the minimum required files.

but I have to publish all the contents of
nopCommerce_4.20_NoSource_SelfContained.rar?

have you seen its contents? 3472 files 400 folders

up to version 3.9 the no source code was very simple to install now I can't.

Yes 3.9 to 4.X is completely different now running on ASP.NET Core 2.0 rather than ASP.NET
So you need to install new runtime / system setup, etc for .NET Core
