Folks,  Thanks for the links.  I took a look at the Striving Programmers site this morning.  The Contemporary Theme looks good.  I am new to nopCommerce but I can say that Theme availability is an important factor when looking at these types of products (osCommerce, Magento, etc).

As the product and community develops, it would be great to see nopCommerce listed on sites like Template Monster (http://www.templatemonster.com).

Maybe an expert in the nopCommerce themes could provide a Tutorial to convert an osCommerce or Magento them to nopCommerce.  I am sure that many Template developers would be interested.

Theme availability is important.  Keep up the good work.

I concur.  Having themes we could easily download, convert, modify (and pay for!) would be great.

Being "theme handicapped" is struggling enough for me.  But it is the first thing a customer wants to see and when we mockup a site for them, showing alternatives would be great.

Keep up the good work!

Hi

I tried the free themes by strivingprogrammers, they are ok but not any better than the ones from nopcommerece. I am finding there's not many v1.9 themes out there. Even for precious versions there is not much choice.

Even limited on the choice for paid ones.

ANyonje have any ideas where best to get some good quality themes (paid or unpaid).

Thanks

We recently launched a project over at 99designs.com and are currently converting the theme to fit into nopCommerce. If you don't know how to convert a them into css / break an image down - I am sure that someone on these forums would do it for you at a price (sorry, I cant offer as we are focusing on our own).

Some awesome design done at 99designs - we had trouble choosing and the quality is amazing. Admittedly there are some completely rubbish ones aswell, but just ignore them!

Thank you for trying the themes and providing your feedback.

The themes available on striving programmers website - First of all you need to understand that those themes are available for FREE !!!!

Somebody is spending time in designing those themes for all nopCommerce users so that all users can have choice in choosing design of their website other then 2 basic default themes and in return the designer is only asking for appreciation (NOT MONEY).

Secondly, you need to understand - you never gonna get a high level designed website theme for FREE. If you would like a custom theme for your website, contact the developer/designer so that you can have a theme that meets all your requirements. For more information: www.strivingprogrammers.com/contactus.aspx

Talking about choices - Yes I agree the theme choice is limited on striving programmers website but it's better to maintain the good quality of theme(s) rather than providing low quality themes in bulk. We are working on new themes - keep visiting the website for more updates.

Once again, I really appreciate your feedback - it helps striving programmers community to improve and provide more free themes for all nopCommerce users.
