configuration problem with FCK editor (upload image / localhost)

The "XML request error: Internal Server Error (500)" error message is shown when clicking the "Browse Server" button in the image and link dialogs. What is wrong? Is additional configuration necessary? If yes how to do? Thanks in advance...

I had the same issue.
Solution is easy:
you should give the write permission to the Images folder for NETWORK SERVICE user for instance.
