A customer paid for an order by PayPal. The Order Status is Pending and Marked as Paid. Customer requests a refund before item ships. When I click on Refund button, the Order Status is still Pending. Also, the refund is pending for 3 days on the merchant account. Will the Order Status automatically change to Canceled when the refund is complete by the merchant account, or will I have to manually change the order status to Canceled?
Just wondering. I've been manually changing the status to canceled when a customer requests a refund to cancel an order.
