If you see here https://datatables.net/manual/tech-notes/7 then you can notice they have explained that how you can check that which error is occurred using google chrome. So first try to check that and then post that error message here if you are not able to resolve it.
In my specific case, a hosting on windows server, supported by Plesk Obsidian. where the problem was identified in the logs provided by Plesk: a web firewall block, the problem was solved when I reconfigured a Plesk extension, the "Atomic ModSecurity" (web application firewall), changing the setup from "ON" to "Detection Only" mode.
