MailChimp eCommerce sync will not finish due to large volume

I'm using the 4.2 version of the MailChimp plugin here: https://www.nopcommerce.com/mailchimp-synchronization-plugin-2 and I can never get the eCommerce sync to finish.  Reading through the code it looks like the way it's written is not really suitable for a large volume.  I have almost 60,000 (more than half of which are published) products and 3 stores connected to my nopCommerce site and every time I try to run it I get a LINQ query error about 20 hours after I kick off the sync.  Are there any alternatives for me getting this data to MailChimp or is there a way to make this code more efficient for a large volume of data?
