Not Available via Public IP

Hello,

I have installed a new web based instance of nopCommerce version 4.2 (no source code) on an Azure VM .  The Azure VM has a public IP address available.  Prior to installing when I go to the default website at http://'public ip address' I am able to view a basic website.

After installing nopCommerce and starting it by running Nop.Web.exe I am able to view the entire site locally on the VM by going to http://localhost:5000

The site is not available via the public IP address though and the default website that was working prior to running it is also not working.  If I remove all of the nopCommerce files from the directory the default website will work again.

Does anyone have any insight on what could be happening?  I have read through the installation guide.  Could it be related to permissions on folders?  The guide says to give Write permission to a number of folders but does not say what account needs Write access.  Perhaps it is because when I run locally as an admin I have correct permissions but when running publicly a different account needs Write access?

Your project is deployed on 5000 port number. Try to browse http://your_ip:5000. Also make sure 5000 port is added to firewall rule.

Thank you Ayesha.  Can you please tell me how to get it to run using port 80 instead of port 5000?
