Is there any way to copy a category to a new name, all products included, without eliminating the old category? I have a lot of categories that are mostly the same. I would like to copy the old one, then make revisions to the new one, but I don't want to lost the old category.
No It is not possible - the products are linked to Category Id. When you make a new category it has a new Id You would need to code a customised function to copy and relink the products to the new Id
