Upgrading from 2.65 issues

Hi,

Upgrading an old nop commerce site. I'm currently trying to upgrade from 2.65 to 2.7. I'm following the nop commerce upgrade page (https://docs.nopcommerce.com/en/installation-and-upgrading/upgrading-nopcommerce.html), but having issues.

1) It takes me to the nopCommerce installation page. Should it do that?

2)When I enter my log in credentials, I get  'account is not granted with Modify permission on folder' on all my folders. Is this a nop commerce issue, or hosting issue? (TSO host)

3)With my current version being so old, do I have to upgrade to 2.7, 2.8, 2.9 etc, or can I skip to a more recent version?

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated. (wish they made a video on how to upgrade nopcommerce)

You only have to run the scripts to upgrade the database for each version
You dont need to run the website on each version of the database

What version are you going to ?
One questions is how many products you have and is it a complex configuration
Maybe it is easier to export and import products and copy and past config in the system you are setting up
Also depends if you want order history etc I suppose
