I am in NOP 4.2, and I have a product with some simple product attributes assigned to it. They are all textbox fields, and are First Name, Last Name, E-Mail etc. Really simple information. What I am looking to do is not allow registrations where customers fill in that information as part of a checkout process.
Instead, what I am trying to do is pull data in through an API, and then take that data and programatically assign each value to a corresponding product attribute. I have not found a way that works in 4.2 to my liking. Is there an easy way to do this, or will I need a lot of customizations?
