4.20 - Scheduled Tasks not triggering, no errors in log

Apologies if this has been resolved somewhere, but I could not find a resolution.

I am having a problem with scheduled tasks where a task will run perfectly if the "Run Now" button is clicked, but will never trigger if just left to run automatically.

Website is hosted on a shared hosting environment. Hosting support has checked their side and have allowed a change to one of the security protocols they have. This did not resolve the issue. They have asked for more information of what other things they may need to check/change.

I am unable to provide errors as the log doesn't contain any errors. It only contains entries for the application restart when I restart the app.

In which schedule task are you having issue?
Can you check error log in Log Table or Admin > System > Log and share it, so can get the exact idea.

And I would love to share something useful, but this is the only thing that I can see after clearing the log to check for any tasks running.

here is no schedule task related error.
Can you share your store configuration by PM.

Check your setting for store URL.  Be sure it has http:// or https:// prefix.

I have checked the store url and have tried with http:// and https://

Any update solution on this issue. I have been trying with all solutions that motion in schedule task not working.

4.20 is now an older version.
have you considered updating to a later version?

The Store url and Ip of the Store url needs to be accessible in the server
Check with
Cmd > ping url
I remember adding it to the hosts file one time for an older version

I have the exact same situation on my installation.
I am using 4.40.4 and no Schedule task will run automatically.

I have checked:
Store name,
Store url,
Ping from server

when triggered manually it runs just fine, and I never see any errors in the log.
