Inserting image in forum

I am trying to insert an image in the forum. Whenever I use the insert image, it shows the whole img tag and not the image itself. The editor default is BB code. Did anyone experience a similar thing?

You cant embed an image you need to host the image somewhere
On your own server, google or elsewhere then insert a hyperlink to the image in the forum

There are many free sites to host your images that you can then link from here.  for example postimages.org
