How to Upgrade from 4.30 to 4.50

Good day everyone,

I want to upgrade my nopCommerce to 4.50. I remember that when I tried before I got DB issues given that there were changes in the model like price range. What is the best way to upgrade and migrate all data to the new version?
Do I need to create a new DB, and then migrate the data there?
What files do I have to copy, etc?
