Free Shipping on Bundles products

We've got shipping (Fixed or By Weight and By Total) enabled with 3 rules
Rule 1
Order weight from: 0.00
Order weight to: 0.30
Order subtotal from: 0.00
Order subtotal to: 5.00
Additional fixed cost: 1.99

Rule 2
Order weight from: 0.50
Order weight to: 5.90
Order subtotal from: 0.00
Order subtotal to: 669.00
Additional fixed cost: 3.99

Rule 3
Order weight from: 6.00
Order weight to: 1000000.00
Order subtotal from: 670.00
Order subtotal to: 100000.00
Additional fixed cost: 10.99

This works fine for most products, however we have bundled products (A)
Product Attritbutes
1 Drop Down List (Choice of 2 products)
2 Read only check boxes (Bundled products, associated products)

Whe Bundled product A is added to the cart, shipping is charged even though that product has free shipping checked on the product page.

How does free shipping work for bundled products if one of the associated products doesn't have free shipping enabled?

you can apply a discount role with a Discount percentage of 100% on shipping for that Bundles products

There is a shipping settings named Consider associated products dimensions and weight at YOUR_STORE_URL/Admin/Setting/Shipping, uncheck it.
Or
From All Settings, set value as False for ShippingSettings.ConsiderAssociatedProductsDimensions

/Admin/Setting/Shipping, uncheck it.
This seems to have done the trick, many thanks for pointing me in the right direction,

However, if your bundle product does not have free shipping, then the dimensions (weight) of the associated products won't be considered either.

All the pckages have free shipping, if they don't then I can set the size and weight on the package itself. Many that's for the caveat though.
