Update 4.4.2 is slow and causing site to go up and down, changed to 4.40.3 and seem much better

Have you tried using redis on 4.40.4?

Even I am facing a similar problem. I have around 10 stores running atm and going multi-instance on azure is my only option. Problem is I have to use redis for distributed cache which never worked well. Every time I enable it the site goes down or is slow af. Btw, I did upgrade to 4.4.0. I wonder why there is no good documentation around this topic
